a better day today
Friday, 7 May 2010 x 8:10 pm
I feel better today, well partly because there was French XD I was really high during French! Seriously, i really like Mr Huet, at least he tries to make the lesson as fun as possible :)
Let's start from the beginning of the day. Blah blah blah nothing much to talk about... OH! For lit, we translated Elizabethan language into modern english! My grouped picked "Romeo and Juliet", act 2 scene 2. Haha it was pretty fun :) The thing was, we had to act it out! All my group members were like,"YIMING! I don't care, you go and act!" Then i was so amused by them, how can i act as Romeo AND Juliet at the same time? Just climbing up and down the "balcony" will already kill me, plus, i can't remember those lines! HAHA! Then in the end i chose to act as Romeo cos his lines are pretty short compared to Juliet's XD
Bio was, erm, quite terrible. My mock paper is full of green ink from all the corrections that i did. I almost got all the answers wrong which made me even more worried for bio now... I realised that i am always tired after bio, now my feeling towards bio SA is just scared. However, it wasn't the same for chem. I was really super high during chem lessons, i feel even more energised after chem! That was purely amazing. And i was excited about the SA! It had never occurred to me before that. I must say, Ms Doreen Loh is a wonderful teacher :) Just like what she said, i really hope to get her for my chem teacher again next year :)
Then it's geog. I didn't have the time to do my homework. So he made us all go to the library to complete the worksheet before returning back to the class. Yilei and i just did it on the staircase. This made me really angry with him, i swore, i am gonna do all my geog homework and get good grades for geog, see what he'll say in the end. I know usually people will do it the other way round? By not doing their homework? But i really need to prove to him that by not doing one piece of homework occasionally, i still can get good grades. SEE IF YOU WILL STILL SEND US OUT THE NEXT TIME.
French now! It was really awesome today because my Nanyang friends came to the Friday class! Well there were also quite a lot of AC guys so the class was noisier than usual. I was a bit annoyed because Mr Huet had to "shhhhhh" a lot of times, which can be really irritating. The way he does his "shhhh" is unique and, yeahh irritating. HAHA. Oh then we had to write 5 sentences using a new form of grammar that we learned today. I wrote about
TOKIO HOTEL! When i asked him if my sentence structure was alright, this was what happened:
Me: Monsieur, is this alright? Does it make sense?
Mr Huet: Ohhh... Um, what are you trying to say? Il est d'un membre d'un groupe rock que... What is that?
Me: Oh what i meant was "he is a member of a band called Tokio Hotel"
Mr Huet: OH!! TOKIO HOTEL! YES YES OF COURSE!
Me: OMG YOU KNOW THEM?!
Mr Huet: OF COURSE! They are super hot in the Europe! Especially Germany. You hear them EVERYWHERE.
Me: *beams* THIS IS SO COOL.
Mr Huet: Right right... So the sentence is supposed to be "Il est d'un membre d'un groupe rock qui s'appelle Tokio Hotel." Get it?
Me: YES YES OF COURSE!!!! XDDD
HAHAHAHAHAHA I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! HE KNOWS TOKIO HOTEL! He was talking to me once about Lady Gaga and asked me if i went for her concert last year. Then i was like,"Whoa, this teacher is pretty cool eh. Knows Gaga stuff..." And now, HE TALKS ABOUT TOKIO HOTEL! In my heart, i was really screaming,"THIS TEACHER IS AWESOME TO THE MAX!!!!!!!!!" HAHAHA! I guess Tokio Hotel is really hot! He's like 30-40 and he's been living in Singapore most of the time yet he still has heard of Tokio Hotel before!!!! OMG THIS IS GREAT NEWS! XDDD
Oh then i came home and read jiang laoshi's blog. It was really touching. I almost cried. Now i know how she felt inside, i'm so glad we got her...
It's been really tough these few days, but today was the best of all. At least i enjoyed what i was doing.
I'm going back to bio soon, it's really killing all my brain cells but i have no choice. AHHHHHH
