You know here is another really thought provoking thing. I've always scorned at those people who can't be bothered or don't really give a damn to what they're doing to themselves. For example, i've got friends who say,"Ahh who cares, we're gonna die sooner or later, so why not do all you want to do before you die and not restrict yourself form anything?" I thought it was really stupid of them. HELLO YOU'RE DESTROYING YOUR OWN LIFE! Can't you just be careful once in a while? Like not risk your life and make other people worried?

Well the thing is, everyone wants to live their own lives. This is what our today society most valued quality, uniqueness; everyone wants to be different, everyone wants to be outstanding, see that's why we've got Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Tokio Hotel and such. Many people believe to live once and live it to the fullest. Do whatever you want while you're still alive.

If you ask me, would you rather be the fireworks in the sky -glamorous but instant-or be the candle on the table -constant but somewhat boring-, i'll choose to be the candle. It took me a long time to choose before i managed to come to a conclusion. I'm not someone who would sacrifice others for my own joy. No way am i gonna smoke just to feel good, because it's gonna hurt my parents, that's unfair for them. I'm quite sure many people out there will disagree but hey, this is how i see the matter.

:) I discussed this with my mum too. So instead of comparing fireworks and candles, she asked me,"你要当昙花还是兰花?"

And i replied,"不管是昙花还是兰花, 我不要当假花."
